China sourcing

China sourcing support,
built around your specification.

You have a product requirement. The next task is to identify relevant suppliers, clarify what they can offer and make the remaining questions visible. We start with the specification, not a generic factory list.

Supplier sourcing by specification

From the brief
to a considered choice.

Each step has a decision point. Supplier claims and unanswered questions stay visible for the buyer.

  1. Make the requirement usable

Clarify dimensions, materials, quantity, intended use and destination. Separate essential requirements from preferences, and identify missing information before the search starts.

  2. Compare relevant candidates

A sourcing scope can cover supplier research, written enquiries and a comparison of responses against your specification. Information is attributed to its source; a supplier statement is not treated as independent verification.

  3. Agree what happens next

Review the remaining gaps before choosing a supplier or progressing to a sample or order. Any sample coordination, supplier follow-up or supply arrangement needs its own agreed responsibilities and commercial terms.

What to send

A brief we
can work with.

Partial information is a starting point. Mark unknowns rather than filling them with assumptions.

Product specification
Drawing, reference image or product link; dimensions, material, finish and intended use. Include the revision where relevant.
Quantity & variation
Expected quantity, variants and whether the requirement is a sample, first order or repeat purchase.
Destination & use
Country or region and any buyer-defined documentation, compliance or packaging requirements.
Decision priorities
What matters most: specification fit, commercial terms, supplier communication or another constraint.
Existing work
Current supplier responses and unresolved questions, if you already have them. Avoid sensitive documents in the initial email.

Scope & responsibility

Clear information.
A clear buying decision.

A sourcing engagement may include

A written requirements brief, a candidate comparison with source references, a record of supplier responses and a list of unresolved points for buyer review.

The exact depth of research, number of candidates, contact activity and any follow-up work are agreed for the requirement. A shortlist is an input to a buying decision.

Responsibilities to agree separately

The buyer retains supplier selection and order approval. Physical inspection, product testing, certification, customs clearance and freight services are not represented as included capabilities on this page.

A sample, order or direct supply arrangement is considered separately. The contracting seller, payment terms, specifications and responsibilities must be confirmed in writing.

A supplier’s quoted price, availability or lead time remains subject to that supplier’s confirmation and the agreed commercial terms. This page does not promise a purchase outcome.

Illustrative brief · not a customer case

A bracket drawing, with the critical gaps still open.

A hypothetical buyer wants a machined bracket made to an existing drawing. A useful first response is a structured brief and a clarification list, before any supplier is selected.

Provided by the buyer
A dimensioned drawing, an initial quantity estimate and the destination country.
Questions to resolve
Material grade, tolerances, surface finish, revision status and how the buyer will approve a sample.
Possible comparison fields
Specification exceptions, quoted quantity basis, supplier-stated lead time, sample terms and source evidence for each response.
Decision boundary
The buyer reviews the gaps and approves the next step. Research alone does not establish manufacturing quality or product compliance.

This example explains the working method. It does not describe a completed order, a verified supplier or a customer result.

Common questions

Before the
supplier search.

Can we start without a finished specification?

Yes, with a reference and a description of the intended use. The first written step is to identify what needs clarification. Missing technical requirements must be resolved before comparing like-for-like offers.

Can you work with suppliers we already found?

Share the responses and the questions still open. A scope can focus on organising information and clarifying those questions instead of starting a new search.

Does this include inspection or shipping?

These services are not included by default. Do not assume physical inspection, laboratory testing, certification, customs clearance or freight responsibility from a sourcing brief. Any additional role needs explicit agreement.

Can YunShow be the seller?

A direct supply request is considered separately from sourcing support. Whether it is suitable, who contracts as seller and which payment and delivery responsibilities apply must be agreed in writing before an order.

How are fees and timing decided?

After the requirement and scope are understood. Pricing, schedule and any third-party costs are agreed in writing for the specific work; this page offers no fixed fee or turnaround promise.
